What was the strongest rebuke Jesus had for another human being? It was when Peter suggested that he (Jesus) should not go to Jerusalem to suffer at the hands of the Sanhedrin. (Matthew 16:21). What was so wrong with Peter's desire to protect Jesus from untold suffering. What was so dark and terrible about this desire to protect a loved one that Jesus identified it as the very voice of Satan. If we want to transform our community we must deal with the good thoughts and ideas and concerns which may seem innocent but actually originate from the very pit of Hell. There are Good thoughts, thoughts of wisdom, thoughts of concern for our loved ones which are actually the seeds Satan has planted to prevent us from doing God's will.
